Connecticut beaches are great. They are very clean, and the surf is generally not too large; great for kids, but for boogie-boarding, Montauk rules. But I do prefer the Connecticut beaches. They are clean, easily accessible from I-95, and very convenient: Admission and parking is reasonably priced, and restrooms are clean.
