St. Kitts Brimstone Fort
In addition to lush rain forest, monkeys, and unspoiled beauty, St. Kitts is also home to Brimstone Fort and black lava rocks. Baically, the British occupied St. Kitts in 1782, until the French arrived with a fleet of fifty odd war ships, and the two had a nasty battle. St. Kitts This is a short article-well, short on words but long on photos. Welcome to the island of St. Kitts. This is one place I will return to. Grand Turk
As our boat, the Carnival Victory, pulled into each separate Port of Call, we found ourselves making notes of which places we would like to return to. St Maarten
The last time I went to St. Maarten was in the early 1990’s. We stayed at a wonderful little resort called Mullet Bay. I distinctly remember the pretty little birds fluttering in the open air lobby during check in. Okay, St. Maarten fifteen years later is still beautiful, but I was floored how this place built up.
