Saratoga Race Course - The thoroughbreds once again take center stage in Saratoga.  Fun festivals, family activities, live entertainment, over a dozen stakes races and soon-to-be historic moments all packed into an exciting 40-day meet. Plus, improvements and additions for the 2015 meet, including Saratoga Walk of Fame, Tom Durkin Replay Center, new sports bar and revitalized lower Carousel and more.

Saratoga Polo Grounds - Take part in a Saratoga tradition that has been around for over 100 years!  Check out the fast-paced action on historic polo grounds from the picnic-style, family-oriented grandstand area or rub elbows with the elite crowd in the luxurious clubhouse. No matter how you view the game, it is assured a fun time for everyone.

Saratoga National Historical Park - Spend your Dark Day (Tuesdays) with the SNHP for their fun for all ages August Music Series.  Bring a bag lunch and enjoy the breathtaking views and beautiful music on the day the the track is quiet. Free admission!

Saratoga Spa State Park, Saratoga Auto Museum - SAM has various car shows throughout the month of August. Come check out the Hemmings Motor News Sports & Exotic Show (Aug 1), the first annual Tuner Car Show (Aug 8), Electric Vehicle Show (Aug 9), the Jaguar Club of NY Lawn Show (Aug 15) or the British Motor Fest (Aug 22). Then stop into the Saratoga Auto Museum for more car fun and great gift shop.

Philadelphia Orchestra

Saratoga Performing Arts Center - The world-renowned Philadelphia Orchestra once again take summer residency in Saratoga.  Boasting performances featuring Yo-Yo Ma, Joshua Bell, The New York City Ballet, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky Spectacular! All performances have a one hour pre-performance talk, a number of pre-show special events and Fidelity Kids Free on the Lawn

Skidmore College - July wraps up the Saratoga Shakespeare Company's 15th season in Congress Park. New this year: two more shows at two new locations! "Shipwrecked! An Entertainment-The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont" will be Aug 5-8 at 8pm and Aug 8 & 9 at 2pm, all at the Blackbox Theater, Skidmore College. They will also perform "The Comedy of Errors" from August 6-8 at 6:00pm in the Suzanne Corbet Thomas Amphitheater at Skidmore College.
10th Annual Canal Splash

Waterford Harbor Visitor Center Celebrate the history, culture, recreational appeal, and beauty of the New York State Canal System and Erie Canalway Trail during Canal Splash! Ten days of guided walks, bike tours, cruises, museum and gallery exhibits, kayak and canoe paddles, canalside festivals, musical performances and more.

Spa Little Theater -  Don't miss a historic chamber season at SPAC as they join forces with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center again in 2015!  A musical masterpiece in an intimate setting, plus pre-performance Chamber Chats with the artists.

National Museum of Dance & Lawn - Enjoy a juried fine art and fine crafts festival celebrating the visual and performing arts. This event will have demonstrations, art talks, performances, children's activities and food offerings, all with free admission.

Oklahoma Training Track Tours


June 1 - October 2015


National Museum of Racing - Step back in time and enjoy this hour and a half, 1-mile walking tour of the beautiful Oklahoma Training Track. Price includes museum admission after the tour. For safety reason, good walking shoes are required for uneven terrain and no children under 10 permitted.

Yaddo Gardens -  Docent-led garden tours meet at the main fountain near garden entrance gate and only include the gardens. Learn the history of the Trask family, the mansion and the history of the Yaddo Gardens, as well as the aura, spirituality and creative energy that permeates Yaddo.

Live Harness Racing

Thursday - Sunday


Saratoga Casino & Raceway - Live harness racing will continue this month for the 74th season on their beautiful half-mile track.  Come bet on the ponies, then try your luck on the gaming floor with over 1,700 slot machines, grab a bite to eat at one of three dining options and dance the night away at one of the region's hottest night clubs.
